Visit of Entrepreneurs to SMOP Fashion International Fair in Lisbon
A group of women-entrepreneurs from the Asturian Steel Corridor visited SMOP-Fashion International Trade Fair in Lisbon on the 8th, 9th and 10th of September, within the framework of the transnational Project “B-Europe”. From a professional point of view, contacts were made with suppliers and competitors, which generated some commercial orders as a result and the exchange interesting information. It was also interesting the practical information exchanged among the participating entrepreneurs about the creation and managing of their own businesses, as well as the collaboration among themselves in order to optimize the participation in the trade fair. Six women traveled this time, from the Councils of Avilés, Carreño and Gijón, representing different subsectors such as children’s, women’s, gentlemen’s and various youth clothing, as well as a fashion design and textile production entrepreneurial project.
